Del Frisco&#8217;s Philadelphia occupies a former 1920s bank hall near City Hall \u2014 a three-story cathedral of marble and columns where a glowing wine tower climbs the full height of the room and balconies draped in red velvet look down on the action. Even the old bank vault survived: it is now a private dining room where the door alone is worth the detour.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Story\"><\/span>The Story<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The steakhouse opened in late 2008 inside the landmark banking hall, preserving the original grandeur while turning it into one of the biggest restaurant spaces in the city \u2014 over five hundred seats spread across three levels.
