Who is Yungblud?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dominic Richard Harrison was born on August 5, 1997, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. He was a very scatterbrained, restless and hyperactive kid. Because of these features, the student could not stay calm during classes. He was suspended from school after the future singer nicknamed Yungblud deliberately exposed his body to a math teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 16, he moved to London to study at a new educational institution. All his excessive energy the boy put into music, more specifically, he started playing the guitar. In fact, Dominic was not the first singer in the family, his grandfather used to play in a British rock band and his father ran a guitar shop. Harrison Jr. never parted with the musical instrument. However, he sought to follow in the footsteps of his creative grandpa rather than engage in entrepreneurial activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the second time, Dominic did not finish his studies in the capital of England, instead, he devoted all his free time to music. At the same time, he was involved in television projects such as Emmerdale and The Lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything changed in 2017 with the release of the debut mini-album under the pseudonym, “Yungblud”. Under a new stage name, the Englishman is working on new projects. After the success of the first EP, he released the second album, “21st Century Liability”. In 2023, four albums came out in total. In addition to the above-mentioned, he recorded such full albums as “Weird!” and “Yungblud”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yungblud in Philly: How was it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the summer of 2022, Harrison came to the City of Brotherly Love with a concert. Then, it became the fourth city the artist visited as part of the world tour. The locals remembered the performance due to the spectacular opening. Dominic appeared on stage, wearing large glasses that resembled some kind of cinematic character. Yungblud ignited the crowd with the first track of the second album “Weird!” and there was no rest after that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Englishman played a fantastic gig on the Philadelphia stage all night long. As he often does, the singer chose one fan who helped Dominic Harrison pick the next song. Alejandro was chosen that night because the man had traveled more than two thousand miles from Mexico City to see the show in Philadelphia. The fan asked to sing “California”, and Yungblud fulfilled his wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then everyone sang \u201cAnarchist\u201d, followed by a solo acoustic performance of \u201cmars\u201d and a lyrical version of \u201cSweet Heroine\u201d. The singer played the piano during the latter song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The singer drank some water behind the stage while the crowd chanted Dominic’s nickname, asking to sing more. The vocalist appeared on stage again and delighted fans with the song “Lowlife”, which was released a few months before the concert in Philly. The fresh track was accompanied by a lyric video projected on a screen behind Harrison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, he performed his breakthrough \u201cLoner\u201d and then, finalized the night with \u201cMachine Gun\u201d. It should be noted that the foreign star did not sing this song during the aforementioned world tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yungblud is adored in our city. Here, he has a reputation of an energetic artist with modern music on present-day issues. Young Philadelphian blood feels every line from the English singer’s tracks. But most of all, they appreciate this connection with an artist who understands them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
